The Emerging Professional Award was established to honor junior leaders in the IIDA Northern Pacific
Chapter, which includes Alaska, Idaho, Washington, British Columbia, and Alberta. The award provides an
opportunity for the recipient to attend NeoCon, the commercial Interior Design industry’s most important
annual event - bringing together the right people, the best products, and the most innovative ideas.

2023 Lifelong Learning Reimbursement Award: SUBMISSIONS OPEN
If you have pursued post graduation/non-degree education or knowledge related to the interior design profession in the last two years, you may be eligible to apply for the Lifelong Learning Reimbursement Award from the Northern Pacific Chapter. Please see the guidelines and application form for more information.
NCIDQ study materials and exam fees are excluded from eligibility. Programs and events by IIDA are excluded from eligibility. Courses related to or required for obtaining a degree are excluded from eligibility.

If you have passed all three sections of the NCIDQ exam in the last two years, you may be eligible to apply for NCIDQ tuition reimbursement from the Northern Pacific Chapter. Please see the guidelines and application form for more information.

SPENCER DE MILLE TRAVELING FELLOWSHIP
2023 Spencer de Mille Traveling Fellowship: SUBMISSIONS CLOSED
The Spencer de Mille Traveling Fellowship was established with funds contributed by the IIDA Northern Pacific Chapter Knowledge Advancement Fund in honor of past president, Spencer de Mille. The fellowship is intended to support foreign travel undertaken to research new and innovative practices related to the built environment that will further the recipient’s career goals and could have positive implications for the communities of the Pacific Northwest.
VIEW ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applications are accepted from individuals who have been a Member of the IIDA Northern Pacific Chapter for three (3) consecutive years or more.

Applicants can be of any IIDA membership category, so long as that membership remains in good standing.

If the proposed travel will be done through an established program (such as Habitat for Humanity or similar), the proposal must reflect applicant’s personal research objectives independent of the program objectives.
