2025 MC & Judges

An exceptional communicator, innovator, and visionary leader, Cheryl S. Durst has spurred progress, driven change, and encouraged the expansion of the interior design industry. As the Executive Vice President and CEO of the International Interior Design Association, Cheryl is committed to achieving broad recognition for the value of design and its significant role in society. She has been referred to by Interior Design magazine as “an ambassador for nnovation and expansion, and a visionary strategist.” Cheryl was inducted into the prestigious Interior Design Hall of Fame in 2016 as the recipient of its first-ever Leadership Award. She is the first African American woman to be inducted into the industry's Hall of Fame. A lifelong knowledge enthusiast and voracious reader who has considered librarian, astronaut and journalist as potential careers, Cheryl never walks away from meeting someone without gleaning a bit of their story — a talent she currently employs on her podcast, The Skill Set, which focuses on the intangible skills that make us good at what we do.

Stella brings over 17 years of experience in luxury hospitality design. She is currently the Director of Interior Design for the Luxury Brands at Marriott International. Prior to that, she was with Ian Schrager Company where she played a key role in shaping the EDITION hotel brand. She grew up in Canada where she completed an English degree at the University of Alberta. However, her passion for hospitality design was ignited when she pursued a degree in Interior Architecture. After spending a decade in New York, Stella relocated to Seattle, WA and resides here with her family.

An accomplished and energetic interior designer with a strong history of achievements in hospitality design, Henri’s second passion for fashion evolved during the pandemic when he made his first garment. Since then, he has honed his skills and developed an exclusive clientele. His style is “Modern forms with a twist.”

Product Runway & Advocacy

Interior Design regulation at the state level helps establish and maintain professional standards that protect the health, safety and welfare of the general public. IIDA firmly believes that legal recognition, achieved through registration and certification, brings uniformity to the profession, defines responsibility of an interior designer, and encourages excellence in the Commercial Interior Design industry. The IIDA Northern Pacific Chapter Advocacy Committee is dedicated to enacting interior design legislation in the States of Alaska, Idaho, and Washington State.

All proceeds from Product Runway URBAN JUNGLE benefits legislative efforts in our chapter.
