Dawn H. Fischer

Dawn's career has taken her from Boston, to Washington DC and now to the pacific northwest. In her 12 years in the industry, Dawn has made it a priority to become well versed in all phases of the design process and has lead many projects through from the beginning conceptual phases to the completion of construction. With a primary focus on the corporate market she has also been involved in a handful of retail and healthcare projects. She joins the Seattle design community with enthusiasm and a strong desire to contribute to its unique spirit.

Karen H. Dahlstrom, IIDA, is an interior designer and Senior Associate at NBBJ. She joined NBBJ in 1991 and has over 20 years of professional experience working for corporate, education, healthcare, government and bio-tech clients nationwide.

Karen is passionate about the profession of interior design and she is dedicated to the importance of NCIDQ certification and endeavors to expand awareness of its value in the Pacific Northwest. She offers her time on the advisory board for Bellevue Community College to provide advice on curriculum and insight on the profession.

Erin Rindal

Erin graduated with a B.A. in Interior Design from Seattle Pacific University and with an A.A. in Interior Design from F.I.D.M. in Los Angeles, CA. She is currently an interior designer at NBBJ and is in her seventh year in the design profession.

She has been involved with the Northern Pacific Chapter since 2001 working on multiple committees and board positions. In 2004, she took on the new role of the Seattle City Center Director establishing the second City Center within the Northern Pacific Chapter. In 2006, Erin became the VP of City Centers. During that time she established a third City Center in Eastern Washington, guided the creation of standard graphics and rewrote forms for the City and Campus Centers.

Vicki Larson

Vicki has worked in the Office Furniture industry since 1985 starting in Los Angeles where she last worked for Sunar Hauserman. Most recently she has worked for Business Interiors Northwest in sales, and sales management at BarclayDean. Her present position is as a manufacture rep with the Eaton Group.

Vicki has worked on the GreenWorld® committee for the last two years and has participated in Market Saturday as well as supporting all IIDA Northern Pacific Chapter events.

Linda Cohen

Linda has practiced interior design for the past 10 years in corporate commercial interiors. In addition she has taught for the Art Institute of Seattle, served as a guest critic for Bellevue Community College, as well as acting as an alumni interviewer in Seattle for college applicants. Linda established her own practice in 2005.

Linda's involvement with the Northern Pacific Chapter of IIDA has included serving as a 2004 TOAST committee member.

Juliet Schwalbach

Juliet started in the industry in 1985 at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago working for Brunschwig & Fils and Marshall Fields Commercial Interiors, a Steelcase dealership. She moved to Seattle in 1988 and worked for various furniture dealers and manufacturers. In 2003, Juliet moved into the carpet side of the industry and is now employed by Bentley Prince Street.

Roberta is the local representative for Mannington Commercial. She has been involved with IIDA - Northern Pacific Chapter for 5 years. She has served as a Pioneers committee member for 4 years and the Chapter Sponsorship Chair for the last 3 years.
