IIDA Boise - ZeroLandfill (Drop Off)

ZeroLandfill is a unique upcycling event where interior designers come together to collect unused materials—such as fabric samples, tile swatches, paint chips, and other design remnants—and prevent them from ending up in the landfill. This community-driven initiative invites crafters, educators, DIY enthusiasts, and anyone with a creative spirit to come and take these materials for free. By repurposing these samples, participants not only help divert waste but also spark their own creativity, transforming what might be considered trash into treasure. It's a win for the environment, a win for the community, and a win for creativity! We will be collecting material samples on Friday April 11th from 12-6pm and opening up to the public on Saturday April 12th from 9-12. See PDF for more information on what we will be accepting and NOT accepting.
