Product Runway
What is Product Runway?
Product Runway is one of the IIDA Northern Pacific Chapter's signature fundraising events, supporting the chapter's legislative and advocacy efforts.
Local architecture and interior design firms are randomly paired with innovative product manufacturers and challenged to create runway-ready garments using commercial interior finish materials. Through creativity, collaboration, and craftsmanship, teams transform everyday products into extraordinary wearable designs.
Product Runway 2027 explores the elemental forces that shape our world and inspire design.
Guests will embark on a journey through four immersive realms as each team presents its one-of-a-kind creation on the runway. Throughout the evening, fashion, materiality, movement, sound, and atmosphere converge to tell a story of nature's most powerful forces.
From flooring and textiles to wallcoverings and architectural materials, teams will reimagine familiar products as high-fashion statements inspired by the elements that shape our planet.

Earth | Texture & Foundation
Earth embodies strength, resilience, grounding, and connection. Rich textures, natural forms, and enduring materials celebrate the power of a strong foundation.
Wind | Movement & Innovation
Wind captures motion, freedom, adaptability, and possibility. Flowing forms and unexpected details evoke the energy of constant change and creative exploration.
Fire | Transformation & Energy
Fire ignites passion, intensity, and bold expression. Dramatic contrasts, radiant color, and dynamic movement showcase the transformative power of creativity.
Water | Adaptation & Flow
Water brings fluidity, reflection, renewal, and rebirth. Organic movement and evolving forms create a sense of mystery, balance, and possibility.
As the runway evolves through each elemental experience, teams will demonstrate how collaboration, innovation, and design can transform commercial materials into unforgettable works of fashion.Where design meets imagination, materials become fashion, and creativity becomes a force of nature.

Product Runway & Advocacy
Interior Design regulation at the state level helps establish and maintain professional standards that protect the health, safety and welfare of the general public. IIDA firmly believes that legal recognition, achieved through registration and certification, brings uniformity to the profession, defines responsibility of an interior designer, and encourages excellence in the Commercial Interior Design industry. The IIDA Northern Pacific Chapter Advocacy Committee is dedicated to enacting interior design legislation in the States of Alaska, Idaho, and Washington State.
All proceeds from Product Runway URBAN JUNGLE benefits legislative efforts in our chapter.
