About the Event
This year’s Festival features 80+ installations, workshops, performances, tours, exhibitions, discussions and public programs exploring the role of design thinking in bringing together and building trust among diverse communities. Key events include:
Opening Party – September 6 / The Collective
Join us at the creative urban clubhouse Collective Seattle to launch our two-week celebration of design.
Block Party – September 8 & 9 / Occidental Park
A two-day street fair at Occidental Park featuring design installations that explore TRUST.
Design Discussions – September 11 + 20
Curated interactive workshops and panel discussions exploring TRUST in design, including the signature Technology Design Discussion with Microsoft.
Partner Events, September 7-21/ Citywide
PARK(ing) Day – September 21 / Citywide
A globally-celebrated event when metered parking spots are transformed into parklets. Applications due August 24.
