About the Event
Calling all designers, architects and contractors! We welcome you to participate in the first annual Barkitecture event in Boise. We are looking for participants to design and build a one-of-a kind dog or cat lounger for the indoors or outdoors! Teams will be providing their own materials so we highly encourage the re-use or re-purposing of materials in your home, office or job site. New material is allowed but we are encouraging planet friendly materials.
After structures have been built they will be delivered to Clubhound, where an incredibly fun family and pet friendly event will take place to showcase the finished work and be auctioned off! Proceeds will be split in half between the pet rescue group(s) and organizers.
The Consortium for Interior Design Idaho is organizing this event, in support with AIA-Idaho, to help raise funds for their legislative efforts and have their profession be recognized…
