ZERO LANDFILL
SPRING
ZeroLandfill returns to Seattle in 2024! ZeroLandfill is a free event open to the greater Seattle community and organized by IIDA NPC member volunteers. ZeroLandfill is a community outreach event that includes collecting specification samples from Architectural and Interior Design firms for distribution to local crafters, artists and educators. Since 2011, the ZeroLandfill volunteer committee has reduced contribution to local landfills by re-distributing for reuse and upcycle thousands of pounds of materials.
SEATTLE DESIGN FESTIVAL
SUMMER
IIDA NPC partners with the Seattle Design Festival to promote public dialogue and community engagement about the role and impact design has in our lives. The Seattle City Center creates a unique program for this event by exploring how design contributes to the festival’s new theme each year! This event includes community outreach, advocacy, professional development and networking.
HOLIDAY PARTY
DECEMBER
The holiday party is our end of the year celebration! With a DJ and emcee, gift raffles, photobooth, catering and beverages, a philanthropic donation, and with our great membership in attendance, this is an event to cheerfully commemorate the past year and welcome the new!
