Hat 'n' Boots, which was originally named "Premium Tex", was a Western themed gas station built in the 1954. The 44 foot wide cowboy hat originally covered the service office while the 22 foot tall boot was used to house restrooms. Unfortunately, the gas station closed in 1988. In order to help preserve and protect Hat 'n' Boots, the pieces were moved in 2003 to Oxbox Park in Georgetown. The boots were restored in 2005, while the hat was later restored in 2010.
