What Makes It Green?

GreenWorld® - What Makes It Green? (GW-WMIG) is the second annual sustainable design event collaboration between the IIDA Washington State Chapter and the AIA Seattle Committee on the Environment (COTE). The two respective committees have worked diligently to bring a powerhouse of speakers to an event focused on Sustainability, Regionalism and the Collaboration between Design Disciplines. The event will also include the annual GreenWorld® Product Exhibit and the What Makes It Green? Project Submittal.

Interior Design, Architecture + Engineering Workshop
(2 hour workshop including introductions)
An Emerging Market for Green Design" The goal of this workshop is to educate building professionals on how to identify sustainable building strategies and benefits and strategize green design priorities. Attendees will work interactively as competitive teams focusing on emerging green strategies, using retail as an example.
