Seattle City Center Kick-Off Meeting The first Seattle City Center meeting will be held Wednesday, November 8th, at 5:30 p.m. at EHS Design. We are looking for driven individuals to contribute! INawards06 A BIG Success! The fourth annual IIDA INawards was held on Tuesday, October 24th, at The Fenix/Premier in Seattle’s SODO district. This was another signature event for the Northern Pacific Chapter. We celebrated excellence and innovation in interior design, engaged our design community in a meaningful dialogue, and created a link for the next generation of designers at this outstanding event. The INawards committee secured a state-of- the-art venue for this annual event, able to accommodate the largest audience yet along with live performances and musicians. In addition, a world-renowned jury presided over the INawards, which were moderated by Cindy Allen, Editor in Chief of Interior Design magazine. Congratulations to the winning designers at INawards06! And thanks to the many design firms who participated!

Great Holiday Shopping! Save your holiday spending dollars for gift buying at the 4th annual "After Hours Talent" Mixed Media Show and Sale! This year's event will be held on Wednesday, November 29th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Maharam Showroom, 312 Occidental Avenue South. Over 15 fellow interior designers/architects (you may know some of them!) will be selling thier various handmade products. The show will feature jewelry, photography, cards, ceramics, glasswork, hats/scarves, hand-bound journals, lamps, paintings, various holiday decor, etc. A huge selection of affordable holiday gifts for friends and family. Come by to support your fellow designers and enjoy a nice glass of wine while you mingle and shop.

Save The Date for Corporate Forum! The next highly anticipated Corporate Forum will be held on Wednesday, December 6th, from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m.Location to be determined. A presentation by Haworth's National Director of Strategic Business Solutions, Bill Black, will lead off the Forum. His presentation will provide new insight into the importance of value and performance in Real Estate and the way in which high performance design linked to business and financial strategies can create the ultimate facilities for clients. A discussion session will follow that will focus on how, in today's Corporate market, true value and performance can be unlocked when good design, planning, and client perspective are delivered in a holistic and integrated manner.
