Presentation Skills for the Designer CEU The South Sound City Center would like you to mark your calendars now for the Presentation Skills for the Designer CEU, sponsored by The Hon Company, on September 25th and 26th, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The program will offer live, "in the game" activities in a non-threatening, mutually supportive venue. The focus of the class is to develop poise in front of medium-to-large audiences (5-20 individuals). Primary skills include developing content, targeting your message to your audience, and effective partnering techniques. Presentation is worth 1.6 CEU. Space is limited. Cost is just $50.00 for members, $75.00 for non- members, and $25.00 for students for this two-day CEU. Continental breakfast, lunch, and morning and afternoon refreshments are included. Textiles 101 CEU The South Sound City Center would like you to mark your calendars now for the Textiles 101 CEU, sponsored by The Hon Company, on September 27th, at 6:00 p.m. The program will be a primer covering the chemical properties, physical properties, and performance attributes of both natural and synthetic fibers.
