IIDA Northern Pacific Chapter Awarded 2008 IIDA Chapter of the Year!

IIDA Chapter Awards were announced at IIDA's Annual Meeting in Chicago on June 8, 2008. The Northern Pacific Chapter received the following six awards, more awards than any other Chapter in the organization!

First Place Large Chapter of the Year
Congratulations to Ali Khatibi and the entire IIDA NPC Board

Large Chapters are those with 300 or more members, and the New York Chapter also won the award in a tie.

This the second time our Chapter has won the Chapter of the Year Award. We also received the award in 2002 when we were the Washington State Chapter.

For the first time in Washington state, the design community is coming together! The Interior Design Coalition of Washington (IDCW), in collaboration with the local chapters of AIA, ASID, ASLA, IDSA, IIDA, and SEA, is hosting its first annual "Summer Block Party" on Thursday, July 17th, beginning at 5:30pm at Weber Thompson's new LEED Gold building.
