Mentorship Week:
Student and local design professionals are paired for a day of mentoring. Students spend one full day with the designer observing what the day to day life of a designer is like.
Student Scholarship Competition:
Our annual Scholarship event where students submit 1 project that reflects their best work to date. The submitted entries are judged by a panel of local interior designers. The first prize for a non-graduating student is $1500 and $500 for the second place winner. The graduating student category offers the chance for the winning student to interview with 3 local Architecture/ Design firms.
Student Celebration Awards Ceremony:
Students and local designers gather to award the winners of the student scholarship event. Judges describe why they chose the winners and offer feedback on projects that were not awarded a prize. This is an exciting evening that elevates the design dialogue between students and working professionals. It is a chance to reward our local students for all their hard work over the past year.
