Start One

If you are interested in starting a City Center in your area please contact our VP of City Centers (link here) and be prepared to discuss the following:

  • Identify need for City Center programs in specific area.
  • Identify contact person in geographic area.
  • Chapter Vice President of City Centers, pertinent board members and Contact person to discuss interest levels.
  • Vice President of City Centers to take to Chapter Board for approval to proceed at investigative level.
  • Chapter to propose a budget of "seed $" for the City Center.
  • City Center Director to be appointed by Chapter President.
  • Notify IIDA HQ that group is functioning as a City Center.
  • City Center Director to recruit and form appropriate committees for events.
  • Place schedule of events in Chapter Calendar and Newsletter and on the international web site calendar of events.
